August 5 Seals and Murray Harbor

The name of the campground was Seal Cove and rightfully so.  Every afternoon the seals came to hang out on a sand bar just off from where the campground is.

Just to put it in to perspective.  we are standing on the beach and that spit of land you see sticking out in the water is where the seals congregate when the tide is out and the sand bar is showing.

My 50 X zoom got a little blurry for good detail at this distance, but you can see how crowded the neighborhood got.

This is the beach at the campground.  The water is so shallow the kids could practically walk out to the swim platform.
