August 1 Exploring the Cabot Trail, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia

























Note the few homes along the coast.  Nothing is "crowded" here.  We found it the same along some of the magnificent lakes, where in the US there would be homes plastered all around the shoreline, that isn't the case  here.  You might see a half dozen homes on the shore of a lake and very few pleasure boats. 




















Imagine building a road in this terrain, but they do.  It's miles and miles before you get to a town, but at least with the road you can now get there.  Note how little topsoil there is.
