May 21 Pigeon Forge

It rained almost all night.  Know what they say about rain on a tin roof...all true!  We had the TV volume as high as it would go so we could hear it.  Today it has rained off and on, but in between was lovely.  We started to go back in to Smokey National Park, but the clouds were so black over them we decided it wasn't worth it.  Ended up doing laundry, working around the RV and just relaxing for the day.  We will probably have a long driving day tomorrow so just as well.  Tonight we are going to grill up some fresh Tuna and watch the Preakness.
Yesterday when we were walking through Gatlinburg we saw a wood carver who had some great signs.  Decided to have one made up for us since we foolishly lost the one the Reams gave us for Christmas a couple of years ago.  It was magnetic and we forgot to remove it before we took off and it slipped off in the rain when at Disney last year.  We were sick.  This new one is wood and hopefully we will hang on to it.
After dinner we had a campfire and a bunch of neighbors showed up.  They "moved in" for a little while, then took off to swim home.
