May 3 and 4 trip to Florida Caverns State Park

Florida Cavern's has been on our radar since we saw Carlsbad Caverns.  I hope they are nice as the two days here could have been a "pass", at least this time of year.  The mosquitoes are brutal.  We spent some time wandering the town of Marianna today.  Not a lot to see and many of the buildings are for sale.  Businesses and homes, at least in the downtown area.  I did find an interesting book on the history of the Grand Olde Oprey from 1966 in an antique store.  Interesting read, especially since we're headed there.

After the rain it was a muddy mess.  Also Mosquito Heaven so not crazy about this location.  We'll see the Caverns tomorrow and be happy to hit the road.
