May 7: Graceland, Memphis, TN

Obviously we have not mastered the "Selfies", but because I forgot to put my memory disk back in the camera we only got a couple of pictures on our tour at Graceland.  I "thought" I'd taken a couple hundred....I was in heaven taking all these fabulous pictures, but as we got in the car to head back to the RV I realized I didn't have the memory card in.  Fred was a good sport and offered to go back and re-do the tour (4 hours!!!), but I said no.  I had purchased the tour book so here's some of what we saw.  It's an amazing place and well worth the VIP Tour that our friend Graham Scott had suggested.  I'd definitely do it again and highly recommend it if you are in Memphis.  Elvis is providing a LOT of employment here in Memphis.  It's amazing how much memorabilia there is.  He was my "heart throb" as a teenager so it was fun to see him in his glory days.  Amazing that he died at 42.  He really accomplished a lot in a short life time and I'm glad they sort of glossed over the later years.

The front gate.  Horses roam around the property.  There are still 4 on the property.  The house really isn't all that large, but certainly has some "unique" rooms.
