We are having trouble uploading photos to the blog. Very frustrating for me!!
Since the last post with photos we have:
5/10 Spent a day doing "housekeeping and laundry" and hanging out. Visited the Chucalissa Indian Museum that is adjacent to the State Park we were staying in.
5/11 We drove to Nashville and the Grand Ole RV park.
5/12 We did an All day bus tour of Nashville that included a tour of the City, Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (TOTALLY AWESOME!). After lunch we went to the new Opryland for a backstage tour and to the Gaylord Opryland Resort...another TOTALLY AWESOME place to see.
5/13 We did a bus tour of Nashville Nightlife which included a BBQ dinner and touring the City at night as well as time to wander the Honky Tonks and check out nightlife in Nashville.
5/14 We drove to Nashville and spent the day touring the City on a Hop on/Hop off bus. Every tour we took we learned something new about the City. We didn't even get off the bus, but decided there were three places we'd like to go back to the next day.
5/15 We did the Bicentennial Mall, the Parthenon and the Union Hotel. Also spent a little time at Tootsie's Honky Tonk.
5/16 We drove down to Lynchburg, TN to the Jack Daniel's Distillery. That was another fascinating tour. We were gone all day and tonight we are totally exhausted. I tried to play catch up with the blog and photos, but still can't get them to upload so decided to just bring you up to date on what we've done. When I'm not so tired I will tell you about the tours and hopefully eventually have the pictures uploaded.
Tomorrow we go to Gatlinburg. It's raining tonight and we are hoping it wont be raining too hard tomorrow for the drive.
Am I doing this right? I'm sure you'll get those pictures figured out quickly.
