September 8 the scenic road, Rockport and cousin Roger

Taking the scenic route to the Cape led us past some incredibly old and amazing places.  I think this was in Ipswitch.  Many of the homes there were from the 1600's and extremely well cared for.

This would be my idea of a "tiny house".

Motif Number 1.  This is the building in our painting, but not from the same view.  I've been away from home so long I can't remember the exact location so I took shots from all angles.

We were on a mission to find paintings by Otis Cooke who painted our painting.  Unfortunately none were available.

The Village of Rockport was charming with lots of great shops to explore.

One of the very few rainy, foggy days that we've had the whole trip.

The fire house for those antique fire vehicles.
