June 17 and 18: Petosky and Leelanau State Park

The view from our campsite at Tiki Campground overlooking Lake Michigan

Crossing the Mackinaw Bridge

The bigger Petosky stone was a gift, the teeny, tiny one we did find along with 3 pieces of sea glass.  The black rock I saved because Rich said we were looking for a black stone, but turns out if not polished they are really gray.  However, I liked the feel of this smooth black stone and plan to use it as a paperweight in Rich's honor.
Just one of many gorgeous old Victorian homes in Traverse City.

A map mural in one of the Visitor Centers we stopped at.

Stopped for a wine tasting on the way to the tip of Leelanau State Park
