Sept. 15 we left Provincetown and headed back to Mashpee with Bev and Ed.
Sept. 16 Fred and I took the Ferry to Nantucket for the day and had a marvelous time exploring.
Sept. 17 we spent the day making preparations to hit the road again. We'd been having trouble with the step not retrackting on the RV and we worried about catching it on a curb a we were driving. Fred and Ed disabled it for the time being.
Sept. 18 We stopped on our way through Connecticut for a quick visit with Fred's cousin Laura and husband Scott. They graciously invited us to dinner and we had a great "catch up" visit. We are seeing some Fall colors sporadically and it's probably more stunning because it's so random. I'm sorry we will miss the spectacular show that is soon to come.
Sept. 19 and 20 we took a day off mid way through PA at a nice campground that unfortunately had no wifi and we had no phone service. We ended up driving 7 miles in to a town so we could connect and work on a real estate deal.
Sept. 21 we drove to Gettysburg where we will be staying for 3 days. We got in a little late, but managed to take in the Visitor Center and see the film narrated by Morgan Freeman "A New Birth of Freedom" and view the massive Cyclorama painting depicting the Civil War Battle "Pickett's Charge".
Sept. 22 Headed out this morning to start touring!
